I have a 20 foot Navy line handling boat built by uniflite with a Westerbeke 4-107 that I wish to get rid of, it is on one of those missle booster trailers, pretty much complete, will throw in a parts hull to boot, $500 for everything, located in Central New York. This boat was used at the Philadelphia Navy Shipyard. I wanted to restore it but am also restoring a whaleboat and cannot handle both. Engine and transmission, bow and stern lights, instrument panel all identical to whaleboat. Email me at psoyring@yahoo.com for pics.

I will see if the Sea Scout group I work with want it.  They were looking for a boat like that to start them off in small boat handling.  Would have to check into getting it out here to California.  The price sounds good so maybe we can find a deal on shipping.  How much work to get it operational?  They wanted a whaleboat, but this would  be perfect for them.  The Scouts here have a 82' Point Class "retired" Coast Guard Cutter.

The engine looks runnable exept the starter has been removed and the hull only needs minor fiberglass patching above the waterline, the trailer is in good towable shape, I had new tires put on it years ago, as long as you have a pintle hitch and a 3/4 to 1 ton pickup you could tow it. Very nice durable smaller size Navy craft.

Sir,

Any other photos. Is the motor operational? Lots of questions, but I hope you understand. Is the hull serviceable, any major structural problems.

Can you call me at 508-958-1299 in the next few days as I will be heading north towards New England on the 9th and heading south again on/about the 18-20 Dec. Where in NY are you located? I would like to see the boat and maybe buy it from you and tow it away. Is the trailer road capable?

Hope to hear from you.

Thanks,

Joe Lombardi

Yes, but will hold onto it another month and then start dismantling it for parts.
